Why does not the printer print? What to do?

Computers

The printer - of course, the device is wonderful, but, like any technique, sometimes fails. Instead of the printed sheets, it gives out blank sheets. Instead of fast printing, which was so praised in the advertising brochure, it gives out stuck sheets (static electricity affects). You have to print again and print one page (not to stick together), and this time is much longer than 3 minutes specified in the technical specifications in the manual. Can print sheets with blots, such that the text is not visible. And maybe they can not even print ... In this article, we'll help you figure out why the printer does not print, what to do in this situation, too, will be helpful.

The printer may not print for several reasons. As a rule, its features of functioning depend on the shortcomings of this or that model, from the manufacturer. For example, the majority of modern printers among the many printed sheets can give out and completely clean. All printers are different, however, with regard to all of them, you can give a couple of recommendations.

First, let's look at the situation when the printer was workingproperly and suddenly "failed". If the printer does not print, what should I do first? It's trite, but still: check if the cord is plugged in, if the power button is pressed, or if paper is inserted in the printer. If this is all right, it's possible that the printer has jammed paper. What to do then? Open the cover behind the cartridge. After such disassembly of the printer, you can see the jammed paper, try to slowly pull it out.

If the problem is resolved, the printer will automatically print the document that was created. To prevent the situation from repeating itself, you should place paper in it as evenly as possible.

Blots on the sheet can be reduced to a minimum, notbe sure to refill the cartridge. You just need to distribute the paint in it. To do this, remove the cartridge from the printer. It is desirable that the room is dark, do not tilt the cartridge, keep it horizontally, otherwise the ink will spread unevenly, and the printer will print even worse. Tip the cartridge slowly first one way, then the other. The angle of inclination should not be too large. A couple of times you will do it and you can insert it back. This measure should be sufficient until the next refilling of the cartridge, so that the printer prints almost without blots.

Often, problems with the printer cause a hangoperating system: when the print program is waiting for a document to be printed, but this does not happen, and especially if you want to see many sheets. What should I do if the computer freezes? It is always advisable to wait for the system to respond to the last command ("hang"). But no one can withstand so much waiting time (especially if the work does not stand idle). We recommend waiting 20 minutes if possible, if nothing happened, something can be done.

First. In the operating system there is a "Task Manager", through which you can turn on the computer restart, if the normal method is not available (the computer does not respond to commands). It can be called through the context menu from the taskbar. Or by pressing three keys: Ctrl, Alt and Delet (or Del) - simultaneously! In the opened window of the dispatcher, in the "Applications" tab a list of all running, working and "hung" programs at the moment will be presented. Before you "send" the computer to reboot, you can see what programs the system is hanging and, if necessary, complete the work of each of them separately. If everything is frozen, go to the reboot: at the top of the dispatcher window there is a command button "Shutdown". After it is pressed, the system will provide a choice: shut down the computer, restart or turn on the standby mode (there may be additional options, user change, for example). Select the reboot. If only some programs are suspended, they can be terminated forcibly. In the "Applications" tab of the task manager, select the programs with the left mouse button, opposite which the inscription "Does not respond" appears. Then click the "remove task" button below, after which the system will "ask": "Finish now?" Click "finish now". And so with each not responding program.

The second. If the computer is so frozen that even the task manager can not be called, you will have to use the reset button on the system unit (but use this option only as a last resort, if absolutely necessary). Click on the lowest small button on the system, the computer will reboot.

Some printers I'd like to name"Capricious". Do not print, even if you pull out the jammed paper, put the correct settings. If such a "capricious" printer does not print, what to do with it? You can try to open the lid behind which the cartridge is located. It is necessary to slam it back, and the process went. Some printers start working if you turn them off and on again. So I want to say: well, the technique ... on the brink of fantasy!

If none of the above did not help, the printerDo not print what to do then? There is only one way out - to contact the system administrator (maybe there is such an acquaintance), suddenly something in the settings is wrong. But if everything worked fine before, and the printer has just stopped printing for unknown reasons, you will have to contact the service center if the warranty has not expired (take it in a box and with a check, otherwise it will not be accepted) or to the workshop.
