Technical College

Theater-musical "Monoton" - one of the few,having on its base a medium-special educational institution that prepares future actors. The technical school was opened in 1991, but it was originally a lyceum. In 2005, the first graduation ceremony was held in the training center named after Leonid Filatov. There are several departments in the technical school:

• directing, where they prepare directors of theatrical performances;

• theater administrators;

• graphic artists in the theater.

At 13, students move on to the next, already professional, level of education - drama school, which ends at 17. From a very young age, children immerse themselves in the atmosphere of art. Here the same subjects are taught as in a regular secondary school, plus there is a professional training depending on the chosen direction. Students play roles in the performances of the Monoton Theater - this is an internship for them. The technical school has already gained a reputation as an educational institution where students receive professional education at a very high level. Graduates of this training center receive higher education in the best theatrical universities of our country, and also successfully build their careers in the Monoton musical theater and in other theaters of Russia.
