Biography

Yadviga Poplavskaya was born in the family of the famousBelarus musician. Her father was a choirmaster. He is one of the founders of the State Folk Choir of the Republic. In the family, Jadwiga was an average daughter. All in all, her parents had three children. Her father dreamed of a family ensemble. Elder sister Christina was supposed to play the piano. Yadvige expected the career of a violinist. And younger brother Czeslaw, according to his father, was to become a cellist. Yadviga Poplavskaya was trained for only a year on the violin. She was a diligent and conscientious student, but she was hard at this musical instrument. Then the father decided to put the girl at the piano. The game on this tool Yadviga learned successfully. After graduation she graduated from the Belarusian Conservatoire in two departments - pianoforte and composition.
