Sand for construction - it is non-metallic natural building material,which is extracted in rivers, seas and on land in various ways with the help of special technologies. So, there are several types of this building material:

1) Quarry sand. This type of building material is mined in quarries, natural or artificial. Despite the low quality, it is widely used in the construction and finishing works. The price of quarry sand depends on the quality and varies in the range of 300-600 rubles per 1 cubic meter;

2) Sandy soil. This kind of material contains a lot of dust, clay, silt or earth. These impurities significantly reduce the quality of it as a building material. In this regard, it must be cleaned. To do this, it is screened or washed, thus getting rid of most unnecessary occurrences. Prices for sandy ground are low;

3) River sand. Such building material is extracted with the help of hydromechanics from the very bottom of the rivers. Often, river sand is used for interior finishing works as plaster or grouting. Often it is used for the construction of a sidewalk or the manufacture of concrete structures. The average cost of this bulk material is not lower than 450 rubles per 1 cubic meter;

4) Quartz sand. This name was given to the sand due to the large content of quartz. This building material is mined in quarries. Quartz sand is often used as a decorative finishing material, a filter, as molds during the manufacture of metal products. This building material is an integral part of creating a unique landscape design. The minimum cost is about 300 rubles per 1 cubic meter;

5) Coarse-grained sand. From such material, concrete for sale and concrete are made. The construction of sidewalks involves the mandatory use of coarse-grained bulk material, which is also used in the manufacture of various mixtures for construction purposes.

Due to the great diversity building sand, it can be used for manyconstruction works. Each field of application of this material requires certain properties and qualities. Each kind of it has certain characteristics, and in connection with this and its scope. It is impossible to use sand of lower quality than required, because the erected structures will not meet all standards and norms. From the economic point of view it is not recommended to use material of too high quality, when it is not required. This can incur unnecessary expenses.
