In 2007, more than 10,000 people died at the Zasyadko mine.hundred miners. This catastrophe was the largest in the history of the enterprise. It occurred as a result of the explosion of a methane-air mixture. In extinguishing the fire, fire departments were involved not only in Donetsk, but also in Lugansk. Three days after the accident, dead miners were taken to the surface. The bodies of eleven miners were never found.
