Environmental management is a modern methodtaking into account the advantages of environmental protection in the implementation and planning of the activities of an organization. This is also an integral part of modern management systems.

- a sharp decline in ecology;
- delineation of the regional distribution of industrial production;
- increase in production capacity required for new technologies;
- the increased influence of production not only on regional, but also on the world nature;
- the delineation of hazardous wastes, their sinks between countries of the world economy (waste concentration);
- the origin of the content of environmental opinion and worldview in politics;
- trends in the development of scientific and technological progress (nuclear technology, biotechnology and others).
In accordance with ISO 14001, the mechanism for the implementation of a different environmental management system consists of the following stages:
- assessment of the initial situation;
- Planning for the introduction of a different system of environmental management;
- setting goals, objectives and developing programs;
- monitoring system or monitoring;
- an objective assessment of the effectiveness of work;
- internal audit of various environmental management systems.
You can obtain an ISO certificate in three ways:
- In accordance with ISO 14001, when it is issued by a certification company or any foreign organization that has accreditation in this field.
- In accordance with GOST, in this case the document is issued by a certification company that has the accreditation of the Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology (Rostekhregulirovanie).
