It was from 2010 after the second large-scale restyling of the GAZ-3302 was called "Gazelle-Business".
Now such a combination of words is perceived quitenormally, but even 10-15 years ago it would certainly be associated with a fixed-route taxi in a small provincial town or a truck for the transportation of fruits and vegetables to shopping tents. And all because at that time such a low-tonnage car was almost the only way for beginning entrepreneurs. Today, the prefix "business" puts quite different aspects into this concept.
The GAZ-3302 series has a number of differentversions and modifications. This is the on-board truck, the passenger minibus, the all-metal van, and the buses with the shorter base or the increased height of the roof - which is to say, the car for all occasions.
In 2003, the second generation of the GAZ-3302 was released.
Specifications of the updatedThe car has changed for the most part in terms of design. For example, the van received a new optics, a bonnet, a radiator grille and a front bumper. More refined (if this word, in general, is applicable to the domestic car industry) was the front panel, along with the instruments, the lineup was supplemented by a variant with an elongated chassis. Unfortunately, all these innovations have not touched on quality. The purchase of GAZ-3302 (characteristics of the 2003 model) continued to be part of the lottery series. Almost all models of the restyling series were equipped with ZMZ-40522 (2.5 hp, 140 hp) and UMP-4216 (2.9 hp, 123 hp) motors. For the shorter version of the Sable, there was also a 137-horsepower engine from Chrysler, which was previously installed on the Volga.
In 2010, a new round in the life of Gazelle began. The first models of the improved version of Gazel-Business came off the assembly line. A bright characteristic feature of the new "businessman" - a new front bumper and a plastic grille. In the "luxury" configuration, it is painted in the body color, and the image itself is complemented by fog lights - it looks pretty impressive. Changed the changes and salon GAZ-3302. It has become more ergonomic and functional. An original heating and ventilation unit, a liquid crystal screen, high-quality music, etc. were added. The new steering wheel, which, by the way, now has adjustment and the hydraulic booster has well entered in the general interior. The ignition switch is moved to the right.
By the way, not only the interior has changed. Valorous constructors of the Gorky Automobile Plant, honoring and praising them, have finalized a number of "diseases" characteristic for GAZ-3302. A quality 123-horsepower engine works perfectly with a 5-speed gearbox, with little or no grip. The only downside is that there is no alternative for it. The body of the "businessman" was strengthened in several places, now it is completed with a more reliable sliding door of a new design. In short, everything was better, even the quality of the paintwork.
With such a really high-quality product, the Gorky plant has all the chances for the popularity of its offspring, whose main trump card - accessibility - remains in force. It's only the beginning.
