The metro station "Lefortovo". Attractions of the area Lefortovo
The scheme of the Moscow subway is quite complicated. To understand it to the person who first arrived in the capital is not easy. And in a few years this scheme will become even more difficult, because every year new stations are opened. Today, more than thirty are being built. One of them is the metro station Lefortovo. Where will it be located? Which streets will be exits? By what project is it being built? All this we will consider below.
Location on the diagram
The opening of the metro station "Lefortovo" is planned forApril-May 2018. It will be located at the so-called third landing point. So Metrostroevtsy called a new line that runs outside the main ring and includes mostly still under construction stations.
Thus, from the station "Aviamotornaya", located ineastern part of the city, passengers will be able to go to the third landing point and get to the metro station "Lefortovo". And if therefrom they reach the "Rubtsovskaya", which will open in the same year 2018, they will have the opportunity to move to the Arbat-Pokrovskaya line. The Moscow subway is so actively built up and ramified that, perhaps, no one will use land transport soon.
Architectural features
The future of the metro Lefortovo refers to the stationsshallow ground. It is built on a standard project. Like other stations of the third landing point, Lefortovo will have a completely restrained appearance, without any pretentious architectural elements. In the photo below, you can see what will be the design of the future metro. However, often the design of designers changes in the process of work.
Area
"Lefortovo" - the metro, which has only one exitone - on the street Cash. According to the original design, the station was to be located along Soldatskaya. But this project did not suit the local residents and, under their urgent requirements, was changed.
"Lefortovo" is a metro station located in theone of the oldest districts of Moscow. This region refers to the South-Eastern Administrative District. Cash street in the city existed in the XVIII century. Then it, however, was called Nalishna and was located a little elsewhere.
This street was located between Hospital Squareand Novaya Doroga street. But in 1843 a large fire broke out in Lefortovo, after which not only repair was required, but also redevelopment. Cash (or Nalishnuyu) street was removed, but after a few years she again appeared on the map of Moscow. It is already located a little in another place, although also in Lefortovo. Where does this name come from? There are several versions. According to one of them, the street was named after a large landlord who lived in these places.
Near the future metro station "Lefortovo"passes and Soldatskaya Street. Once upon a time it was called Peter and Paul. It was named after the temple, which was built in the seventeenth century. Then there was the Soldier's Sloboda. Hence the modern name. And what now is there, where the station "Lefortovo" will soon open?
Church of Peter and Paul
It was in honor of this temple Soldatskaya streetseveral centuries ago they named Petropavlovskaya. In 1613, it was lit in honor of St. Nicholas. The temple was built, like other structures at that time, made of wood. A hundred years after the discovery, a new, stone one was erected in its place.
In this form, however, the Peter and Paul Church, several times restored, appears before the Muscovites and guests of the capital and is one of the main attractions of the Lefortovo district.
Vvedenskoe Cemetery
This is one of the old cemeteries in Moscow. Like Vagankovskoe, it was discovered during the plague epidemic. One of the villages, located in the eighteenth century on the site of the modern Lefortovo district, is Vvedenskoe. Hence the name of the cemetery, which was originally called German, because the Lutherans were mostly buried here.
